Mishon

Laying mischievously innocent romantic lyrics over R&B grooves richly reverent of soul’s rich history, singer/actor Mishon Ratliff found fame well before he graduated high school. Born in 1993, the singer first appeared on a national stage ten years later as a contestant on the NBC talent-contest program AMERICA'S MOST TALENTED KIDS. While he did not win his age group, he did parlay the attention into a recording contract. In 2007, Mishon landed a role as the youngest child on the ABC Family series Lincoln Heights. Aided by the exposure, Mishon signed to Interscope Records and in late 2009, still just sixteen, the vocalist scored his first hit with the playfully sensual “Just a Kiss.”
