Jalebi charts the journey of two lovers who marry, part and then fatefully reunite. Its soundtrack features a smattering of pop gems and melancholy odes that complement this epic romance. On "Mera Pyar Tera Pyar”, Arijit Singh's vocals are presented with spare instrumentation to great effect. Elsewhere, KK slips under the skin of a subdued Abhishekh Mishra composition with his inimitable sincerity, transforming “Pehle Ke Jaisa” into playback magic.
