Joyce Santana

Puerto Rican rapper Joyce Santana grew up in a musical family and began writing songs as a teenager. Active since the early 2010s, he released his first solo album, Luz en la Oscuridad, in 2015, making waves with a compelling flow and lyrics that didn't shy away from tackling social issues, or about the obstacles faced by black Boricua artists. They found massive success, however, after signing RIMAS Entertainment (Bad Bunny's label), adopting a more mainstream style of reggaeton, and collaborating with many of the genre's biggest stars. Santana's sophomore album, Después Siempre Es Tarde, appeared in 2022.
