NCT WISH

The final sub-unit of the sprawling South Korean boy band collective NCT, NCT WISH delivers a high-energy J-pop sound that should be familiar to fans of the group's many offshoots. Jointly managed by SM Entertainment and Avex Trax, the Tokyo-based sextet -- Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya -- was solidified in September 2023 on the survival show NCT Universe: LASTART. In preparation for their official debut, they toured through the next month across Japan. They released their "pre-debut" single, "Hands Up," that October. The group's official debut, Wish, arrived in February 2024. They followed that June with "Songbird," which was recorded in both Japanese and Korean versions.
