Recorded at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, this live EP finds country superstar Eric Church delivering acoustic takes on tunes from his reflective, ballad-heavy Mr. Misunderstood album. Gentle, thoughtful songs like "Mixed Drinks About Feelings" are a natural for this setting, but rockers like “Chattanooga Lucy” work surprisingly well in this context too, and Church makes some intriguing detours with a solo version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", as well as a medley that manages to touch on Little Feat, Billy Joel, Bob Seger and more.
